You must be 16 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law. Contestants must be a legal resident of the State of Wisconsin who lives in the Milwaukee television viewing area (DMA) as defined by Nielsen. These counties include: Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha counties, and the adjacent counties of Fond du Lac and Rock. The CBS 58 Class Of 2013 Contest is void in all other states, as well as all Wisconsin counties not a part of the Milwaukee television DMA.
Winners will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If WDJT-CBS 58 cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
Prizes-
5 lucky winners will be chosen by a computer generated random drawing from all eligible entries at the conclusion of the entry period. Each of the 5 winners will receive one (1) IPAD Mini (16gb) from Kaplan University valued at $330, four (4) general admission tickets to Summerfest 2013 valued at $68, four (4) tickets to experience the Original Wisconsin Ducks in the Wisconsin Dells for the 2013 Season (valued at $106.04) and four (4) large Papa John’s Pizzas with an estimated value of $60. The total value of each prize package is $564.40. Contestants are only eligible to win one prize packet. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable.
Contest period.
The contest entry period begins on or about May 27, 2013 and ends June 23, 2013. Winners will be selected by a computer generated random drawing the week of June 24, 2013. To obtain a list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: CBS 58 Class of 2013 Contest. 809 S. 60th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53214. Requests must be received by July 15, 2013
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The odds of winning are determined by the number of eligible entries.
If multiple entries are detected for a single contestant, that contestant will be disqualified.
WDJT-CBS 58 reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Employees of WDJT-CBS 58, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to WDJT-CBS 58 the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
WDJT-CBS 58 reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, and/or WDJT-CBS 58. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
UPICKEM, WDJT-CBS 58, and our sponsors and partners are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.
Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
WDJT-CBS 58 reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
