Official Rules- CBS 58 SPRING HAS SPRUNG SWEEPSTAKES
No purchase necessary. One valid entry per day per eligible contestant.
You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law. Contestants must be a legal resident of the State of Wisconsin who lives in the Milwaukee television viewing area (DMA) as defined by Nielsen. These counties include: Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha counties, and the adjacent counties of Fond du Lac and Rock. The 2014 CBS 58 SPRING HAS SPRUNG SWEEPSTAKES is void in all other states, as well as all Wisconsin counties not a part of the Milwaukee television DMA.
Winner will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If WDJT-CBS 58 cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
How to enter-
Eligible contestants must go to cbs58.com to enter. Contestants should look for the contest banner on the CBS 58 website, then click and register. Contestants may also enter on the CBS 58 Facebook page. Eligible contestants may register to win once during the contest period.
Prizes-
Spring Has Spring contestants will be registered to win one of the following prizes:
•One (1) $50 gift card to Fleming’s, provide by Visit Brookfield.
•One (1) $50 gift card to Hom Firewood Grill, provided by Visit Brookfield.
•One (1) $50 gift card to Carrabba’s Italian Grill, provided by Visit Brookfield.
•One of three (1 of 3) Round trip tickets on the SS Badger Ferry, valued at $682. Must be used during the 2014 summer sailing season.
•One of four (1 of 4) one night overnight stay at the Landmark Resort in Door County, valued at $250. Certificate cannot be used on festival or holiday weekends. Other restriction may apply.
•One (1) Driveway Sealcoat from Meyer Construction, with an estimated value of $500. If a winner is offered the Driveway Sealcoat prize, but is unable to use the prize, they will forfeit the prize. CBS 58 shall have the right, but not the obligation, to award this winner one of the other prizes from this contest.
•One of nine (1 of 9) family four packs to the Milwaukee County Zoo, valued at $50.
•One of nine (1 of 9) $50 Bayshore Town Center Gift Cards.
All prize winners will be chosen by a computer generated random drawing from all eligible entries at the conclusion of the contest. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Contest period.
The contest entry period begins on or about Monday, 4/28/14 and ends 5/25/14. To obtain the name of the winners, send a self addressed stamped envelope to CBS 58 Spring Has Sprung Sweepstakes, 809 S. 60th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53214. Request must be received by July 11, 2014.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
WDJT-CBS 58 reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Employees of WDJT-CBS 58, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to WDJT-CBS 58 the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
WDJT-CBS 58 reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, and/or WDJT-CBS 58. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
UPICKEM, WDJT-CBS 58, and our sponsors and partners are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God. In the event of an internet crash, or other such failure, which makes it impractical for CBS 58 to award a winner, CBS 58 shall have the right to discontinue this contest, even if it has already begun, without any obligation to award the grand prize.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.
Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
WDJT-CBS 58 reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
This contest is officially sponsored by WDJT-CBS 58.
