1.YOU COULD WIN: One of Twenty $25 gift cards to Famous Dave’s. The Prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. This giveaway begins on or about Saturday, February 15, 2014 and ends on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Noon CST.
2.NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, giveaway entrants must visit the CBS 58 Facebook page or the CBS 58 website (www.cbs58.com) and go to the contest section. Entrants must supply the necessary information needed to contact them should they be a prizewinner. Eligible contestants must be 18 years of age or older, and a legal resident of Milwaukee television viewing area. Contestants may enter only once. CBS 58, Weigel Broadcasting Co. and the partners in this giveaway are not responsible for any lost Facebook or web entries. Winners will be chosen by a random drawing from all eligible entries. A total of 20 winners will be chosen by a computer generated random drawing. One daily winner will be chosen by random drawing on 2/17, 2/18, 2/19, 2/20, 2/21, 2/24, 2/25, 2/26, 2/27, 2/28, 3/3, 3/ 4, 3/5, 3/6, 3/7. The remaining five winners will be chosen by random drawing on 3/10. An entrant can only win one time.
3.ELIGIBILITY. Anyone who is 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin television viewing area may enter. Giveaway entrants cannot be an employee or immediate family member of CBS 58, Weigel Broadcasting Co., Famous Dave’s, or any affiliated business or company associated with this giveaway. An immediate family member shall be defined as a brother, sister, husband, wife, son, daughter, or anyone living in the household of the employee. Other eligibility requirements apply, as stated elsewhere in these rules.
4.ODDS OF WINNING. An entrant’s odds of winning are determined by the number of eligible entries in this giveaway.
5.PRIZES CBS 58 will be solely responsible for the awarding of the prizes associated with the Famous Dave’s Tournament Time Giveaway. None of the gift cards are redeemable for cash and no transfer of prizes is permitted. CBS 58 and Weigel Broadcasting Co. makes no representations or warranties of any type whatsoever regarding the quality, functionality, safety, compatibility, and fitness for use or merchantability of any of the prizes. Famous Dave’s gift card winners must claim their passes at the CBS 58 business office, located at 809 S. 60th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin before the close of business (5pm Central time) on Friday, March 14, 2014. Winners will be required to show a photo ID to claim the tickets. Failure to claim the gift card shall result as a forfeiture of the prize.
6.In the event of equipment failure, or any other event or circumstance beyond the control of CBS 85 or Weigel Broadcasting Co., where it becomes impracticable for CBS 58 to award one or more of the prizes, CBS 58 may, in its sole and absolute discretion determine not to award any such prize(s). All decisions made by CBS 58 management concerning this and all other matters relating to this giveaway shall be final and binding in all respects on all contest participants. When claiming the prize, winner accepts responsibility for paying any taxes associated with winning a prize in this giveaway whether they use the prize or not. By claiming a prize, winner agrees that CBS 58 and Weigel Broadcasting Co. are authorized to use the winners name, voice, image and likeness in the promotion of this giveaway. Weigel Broadcasting Co. or any other affiliated stations serving the Milwaukee television market may require any winner to execute such written documents as Weigel Broadcasting Co. may, in its sole and absolute discretion, necessitate evidencing the grant of such rights. Failure or refusal of any winner to provide such written documents upon request by CBS 58 and Weigel Broadcasting Co. will result in the forfeiture of the winner’s prize. CBS 58 and Weigel Broadcasting Co.’s right to use a winner’s name, voice, image and likeness shall in all cases include the right to use video and audio recordings of the winner on television, cable television, internet, radio, newspaper and other media for promotional purposes.
7.CBS 58 shall have the right to interpret and to modify these rules at any time and in any manner, and to terminate this giveaway prior to its conclusion at any time and for any reason, in CBS 58's sole and absolute discretion, and without the award of any prizes, and all such determinations shall take effect upon announcement by CBS 58. If a giveaway rule is determined to be contrary to any law, that rule shall be of no force and effect, and all other giveaway rules shall remain in full force and effect and shall not be affected thereby. In the event that this giveaway is terminated for any reason, CBS 58 shall immediately end this giveaway with no additional obligation by CBS 58 or its presenters in this giveaway to any entrants.
8.Weigel Broadcasting Co., CBS 58 and its sponsors and agencies, Famous Dave’s, and the owners, officers, directors, partners, presenters, managers, employees, principals and agents of any of them, have no responsibility or liability for any technical or other problems which arise or occur in connection with this giveaway, including but not limited to late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged, postage due or misdirected entry forms or prize claims; failure to conduct all or any portion of this contest due to programming changes/ conflicts, acts of God or any other reason whatsoever; or errors in any written materials or announcements relating to this contest. By submitting an entry, entrants agree to be bound in all respects by these official giveaway rules and the decisions of CBS 58 regarding the giveaway. By accepting a prize, the prizewinner agrees to release Weigel Broadcasting Co., CBS 58, and its sister stations serving Southeastern Wisconsin, Famous Dave’s, and its entities and partners from any and all liability for claims, actions or proceedings for any damages or injuries sustained during or in connection with the winner’s participation in this giveaway or the winner’s receipt, ownership or use or nonuse of any prize. Winners consent to the use of their name, voice and/ image or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation to the maximum extent permitted by law. All entries become the property of CBS 58 and Weigel Broadcasting Co. and will not be returned. Entries are subject to verification by Weigel Broadcasting Co. or its agents. Any attempt to forge contest materials and correspondence, or defraud CBS 58 or Weigel Broadcasting Co. in any way will result in disqualification and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent allowable by law.
9.In the event of war, acts of terrorism, bad weather, shutdown of postal delivery, telephone malfunction, power outages, or any other event of any kind that would cause the postponement of this giveaway, CBS 58 and Weigel Broadcasting Co. shall have the ability to postpone or cancel this giveaway with no additional obligation to any entrant. In the event CBS 58 and Weigel Broadcasting Co. choose to cancel this giveaway, even if the giveaway has begun, CBS 58 shall have the option to award the grand prize in a random drawing to eligible entries received, or to cancel this giveaway with no prize awarded.
10.Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in these rules, CBS 58 and Weigel Broadcasting Co. reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to award a prize to an alternate winner in the event that any winner fails to claim, take possession of or use a prize, is disqualified, or is for any reason determined by CBS 58 to be ineligible or not entitled to receive a prize, but CBS 58 shall have absolutely no obligation to award any prize to an alternate winner under such circumstances.
11.COPIES OF THE OFFICIAL RULES are available at the CBS 58 offices at 809 South 60th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 53214. For a list of winners, send a request, together with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: CBS 58 809 South 60th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53214, attn: Famous Dave’s giveaway. The request must be received no later than March 28, 2014. For privacy reasons, only the winner’s first name, last initial, and city of residence will be released. No additional information about the winner will be provided.
