1. SPONSOR. This Contest is sponsored by CBS 58 whose address is 809 S. 60th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53214.
2. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter or win the Contest. The Contest begins on or about Monday, December 2, 2013 and ends Sunday, December 29, 2013 unless extended by CBS 58. Persons wishing to enter the Contest may do so at the CBS 58 website (cbs58.com) or the CBS 58 Facebook page and complete an online form to register for a chance to win one of the following prizes: one of ten (1 of 10) $50 gift cards from Stein Garden and Gifts, one (1) Walthers Trainline Christmas Zephyr Train Set Model #931-875 valued at $140, four (4) round trip Amtrak tickets (Milwaukee to Chicago) on Hiawatha, valued at $195, or our grand prize of an Ariens Path Pro Snow Blower model #938032 with a retail value of $599. All viewers who enter must also upload a photo of their decorated holiday home. The photo can be of either the interior or exterior of the home. Only one (1) entry per person, per Facebook account or email address, will be accepted. Prize winners will be awarded by a computer generated random selection. Odds of winning are determined by the number of eligible entries. Amtrak tickets are valid until December 1, 2014. Failure to use the Amtrak tickets before the expiration date of the tickets shall result in a forfeiture of the Amtrak ticket prize.
3. ELIGIBILITY. The Contest is only open to all legal residents of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin television viewing area (as defined by A.C. Nielsen) who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of CBS 58, Weigel Broadcasting Co., Stein Garden and Gifts, Walthers Trainline, Amtrak, and Milwaukee area Ariens dealers, and each of their advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members, are not eligible to enter or win.
4. CLAIMING PRIZE. Any selected winner who cannot be contacted by the end of the business day on Friday, January 10, 2014 to confirm their selection after an initial phone call to the number listed on their entry, or to an e-mail sent to the winner to verify their prize, may be disqualified and an alternate contestant may be selected from the remaining eligible entries and notified. The Prizewinners must possess a valid picture ID to claim their prize.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. All prizes must be picked up at CBS 58, located at 809 S. 60th Street, Milwaukee, WI by January 31, 2014. There will be no substitutes or cash redemptions awarded to the contest winners. By entering, the winner shall consent to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes related to the contest, without additional consideration.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. Winners are responsible for income and other taxes on their prize. Winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Letter of Indemnification upon receipt of their Prize. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the contest may result in a forfeiture of their prize.
7. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by CBS 58 concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer or telephone failure or any other circumstances beyond the control of CBS 58 where it becomes impracticable for CBS 58 to award the prize, CBS 58 may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such prize or any prize et al. CBS 58 reserves the right to modify these rules, at their sole discretion, even if the contest has begun. CBS 58 is not responsible for replacing the prize as a result of events beyond the control of CBS 58. This contest is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law.
8. A copy of these official contest rules are available at the CBS 58 offices located at 809 S. 60th, Milwaukee, WI 53214. If you wish to receive the names of the contest prize winner(s), you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to CBS 58 HOLIDAY HOMES CONTEST, 809 S. 60th Street, Milwaukee, WI, 53214. To protect the privacy of our contestants, CBS 58 will only provide the first name and last initial of the winner(s), as well as the city they live in. CBS 58 must receive any such requests no later than January 31, 2014.
